Theia Video Contest 2025
Theia is pleased to invite you to enter our Video Contest! Whether you use our ultra-wide, no distortion lenses, compact telephotos, motorized or calibrated lenses, we want to hear (and see) from you!
Theia Video Contest:
Please submit videos taken with any Theia lens used in any of the categories listed below. Submissions in multiple categories are accepted. The video submissions should indicate the lens model used, focal length if known, and if possible, any information about the camera used (brand, model, resolution, etc.) We are looking for videos that showcase the lens performance, features and benefits. By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to the terms set forth in this Theia Video Contest Rules webpage.

- Intelligent Traffic Systems
- Security & Video Surveillance
- Other (Human Motion Analysis, Science & Health, etc.)
Key Dates:
- Open Submission: February 20th, 2025
- Submission Deadline: June 2nd, 2025
- Judging period: June 3rd - 30th, 2025
- Winners Notified: July 7th, 2025
Prizes:
One grand prize winner will be awarded in their chosen category. Gold awards given in the remaining three categories. Silver awards given for all four categories. Honorable mentions will be awarded a lens sample in each category. If you or your organization is unable to accept awards, prizes, or gifts, we can make a donation to an agreed non-profit or charitable organization on your behalf.
- Grand Prize: $1000 USD Amazon gift card (not eligible for category awards)
- Category Gold: $150 USD Amazon gift card
- Category Silver: $75 USD Amazon gift card
- Category Honorable Mention: Theia Lens Sample
How to Enter:
- Follow the "Enter Here" links below or to the right side. Please note, if you are unable to use the dropbox link to submit a video entry email us at marketing@theiatech.com to coordinate your submission.
- In a compressed (zipped) folder, submit the video along with a text document specifying your name, company or organization, email address, phone number and category you are entering.
- Video length should be between 1 and 5 minutes
- Accepted formats: AVI, MOV, WMV, MP4, AVCHD, MPEG-2, and H.265
- File size should be kept under 1GB
- Landscape format is preferred
- The deadline for submission is June 2nd, 2025.
Judging Criteria:
Judging will be conducted by Theia’s internal team members and will be judged on:
- Best showcase of qualitative performance of Theia lens in an imaging system,
- Best illustration of features and benefits of Theia lens,
- Best illustration of lens use in the subject application,
- Video technical quality – sound, visual, editing, etc.
- Other subjective criteria.
Eligibility:
Participants must be 16 years of age or older. All entries must be original works created by the participant. Entries must not contain offensive language, violence, or explicit imagery. Video submission may be edited by Theia for publication for any purpose including length or content appropriateness, etc. Winners may not be awarded if submissions do not meet minimum criteria of adequately showcasing the performance of Theia’s lenses in the subject category.
Rights to Use Content:
Theia reserves the right to use submitted videos for promotional purposes. The videos must not violate NDA’s or company proprietary information. It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure content is allowed for promotional use by Theia Technologies. Uses may include promotion in/on Theia websites, Newsletters, Social Media Channels, Advertisements, Presentations, Slideshows, Press Releases, Editorial content, or any other promotional vehicle, medium or channel.
